The intriguing Athena-earrings are made of gold plated stainless steel and elegant freshwater pearls.
Each piece of jewellery is delivered in its own sage green satin pouch.
The Freshwater pearls we use are genuine pearls formed inside mussels (we do not use artificial pearls such as shell-pearls or plastic pearls).
The price of freshwater pearls is influenced by the pearl's size, shape, luster and surface quality. Classic round pearls are more rare and are therefore more expensive.
Our pearls sometimes have small surface defects (small pits or unevenness of the nacre layers), but they are near round in shape and have a high pearlescent luster.
Since these are genuine freshwater pearls, sizes may vary slightly.
Care instructions
You should not go swimming, showering or to the sauna with pearls. Pearls should not be exposed to fats, perfumes or e.g. hairspray.
Pearls are not as hard as, for example, semi-precious stones, so they can be scratched and should be handled with care.
The gold-plated jewellery is made of durable stainless steel, which are coated with a (thin) layer of real gold.
Gold-plated jewellery may differ slightly in colour from yellow gold jewellery, because they are not solid gold but gold-plated stainless steel.
Gold plated jewellery is suitable for everyday use and can for example get wet. Over time,
however, the gold coating may wear or scratch off, especially if the jewellery is handled carelessly.
The gold-plating on the jewellery will last longer if you avoid using it in the sauna, swimming, and while
exercising, as sweating and constant humidity may wear down the surface faster.
We use natural stones, so the colour of the stone in the product may differ slightly from the one in the picture.
The jewellery is best preserved when stored dry and protected from direct sunlight.
